Je dois vous avouer que je tiens un tableau très à jour et très précis de tous mes accessoires H et des différentes combinaisons des foulards avec les autres accessoires - bracelets, pendentifs, colliers...
J'adore cette robe car elle me permet de jouer avec mes foulards. Mes dernières associations ont été le carré Ex-Libris en Kimono (pour un dîner au restaurant) et les châle Selle d'apparat Marocaine et l'Arbre de la Vie (respectivement pour un mariage civil et pour une réunion de famille).
To Catherine's request, here is a first outfit with my new Lift horn pendant in "Chartreuse" color, which is the exact color of the giant square Kelly en Perles! It was not premeditated... I have notices that once back home, when I "tried" my pendant with all my scarves.
I must confess that I made a table (which is very accurate and very up-to-date) with all my H accessories and the different combinations between the scarves and the other accessories - bracelets, pendants, necklaces...
I love this dress because it allows me to play with my scarves. The latest associations were the Ex-Libris en Kimono carré and Selle d'Apparat Marocaine and l'Arbre de la Vie cashmere shawls (for a civil wedding and a family gathering).

Seul petit bémol que je n'avais pas remarqué lors de l'essayage à la boutique du Faubourg : les nouveaux pendentifs Lift ont l'inscription "made in Vietnam" au dos, ce qui rend totalement impossible de le porter de l'autre côté ! Ce que je comptais faire à l'origine... C'est d'autant plus dommage que la corne présente un superbe dégradé de l'autre côté !
There is only a small problem that I had not noticed when trying the pendant in FSH shop : the new Lift pendants have the inscription "Made in Vietnam" on the back, making totally impossible to wear the pendant from the other side! What I wanted to do originally... This is particularly unfortunate that the horn has a beautiful gradation on the other side!
Oh, Scarfmoodist! You look divine! The combination is so striking and yet somehow restrained--perhaps due to the balance with the darker canvas of dress/tights/boots. That color is perfect for you, and seeing it lets me enjoy it fully (oh how it would be wretched on me!). The Kelly en Perles scarf is a treasure--how very lucky you are.
RépondreSupprimerIt is painful, however--as you say--to see this mark on the back. Thank you for photographing it. I had been thinking of a couple of colors I would like to have in the Lift design, but seeing this . . . it seems a little ill-planned. The pendants have the tendency to "turn" while wearing them--so all of a sudden, it will be "backward" when I look down. With this written on the back, I think I will refrain from purchasing more. Or am I being too picky?

RépondreSupprimerCurieusement , la couleur chartreuse en laque est totalement différente de la couleur chartreuse en cuir qui est sorti il y a quelques années...J'ai eu un mal fou a me procurer un Picotin GM dans ce coloris que j'adore (J'ai un gros faible pour tous les tons de vert..) et par contre , j'ai eue une chance folle de trouver une ceinture assortie deux jours après avoir reçu mon Picotin :-))))))
Very pretty on you as this colour can be a bit tricky to pull off. Charcoal lends itself to so many contrasting colours. I agree, it is a nuisance about the Made in Vietnam stamp and may well put me off buying another Lift pendant.

My first answer was "they had to have to do it" because it is also written on my new Isthme pendants (but hopefully it is on the edge, so it is invisible when the pendant is worn)... but when I had a look on my Dalva pendant (from SS2012 collection too), nothing on it at all!!!! So, it is a mystery...

La couleur Charteuse est plus proche du vert anis que du jaune, même si, comme le dit AF, la couleur Chatreuse en laque et en soie est un ton plus jaune que la version en cuir (j'ai un agenda dans cette couleur que je qualifierais pour le coup de vert anis). C'est pourquoi la couleur Chartreuse peut vous allez... même moi je n'aurais jamais pensé que les tonalités de jaune m'iraient avant de les avoir essayées! Au départ je pensais être une "blue girl" et c'est avec le temps que j'ai remarqué que c'était le rouge et le jaune les couleurs les plus flatteuses dans mon cas (deux couleurs que je n'avais jamais porté pendant des années).
Par ailleurs, le jaune, le Chartreuse et l'Absinthe sont des couleurs qui s'accordent particulièrement bien avec le jaune (qu'il soit clair ou anthracite) et avec le bleu marine (et avec le noir, bien sûr).

The Chartreuse/Absinthe (che color are close, even if the Absinthe is a little bit more yellow - as I have La Femme aux Semelles de Vent plissé with absinthe borders, it was easy to compare the colors ;-) are really gorgeous with charcoal grey (but with light grey too) and navy (and black, of course).

Félicitations pour votre Kelly en Perles gris. Je l'ai vu (pour l'instant qu'en photo) et il est magnifique aussi. Comme je le disais plus haut à Iris J, j'ai également remarqué que la couleur Chartreuse ne rend pas du tout pareil en fonction du matériau : elle est un ton plus jaune sur de la soie ou de la laque que sur du cuir. Comme vous, j'adore le vert, votre Picotin Chartreuse doit être absolument splendide. Et puis avec la ceinture assortie, quel chic !
Petite erreur de frappe : il faut lire "le jaune s'accorde particulièrement bien avec le gris" (et non avec le jaune!). Je suis désolée de cette coquille.

I also discovered this disturbing and aesthetically disappointing "made in viet nam" stamp on the back of my new black Lift. My SA was as shocked as I was. I wrote to Hermes and they responded with a 'robo reply' that they are not an authentication service; obviously they didn't even have a real person look at my email. This is very very disturbing on multiple levels!
RépondreSupprimerOMG - dear C - you look divine and the chartreuse silk and pendant are perfection together! This is the first photo I have seen of the new Lifts - I have the Isthme in white and the Dalvy and neither have the Made in Vietnam text on it. What a slip up in accessory design that is - but still it is beautiful on you. I was excited about a possible Lift in Orange or Feu, now will think about it some more unless H changes this. Love the 140 KenP silk!

Lanit, I understand completely that the new text is changing your opinion on a future acquisition. If I had seen it before, I am not sure that I will have buy the pendant! The positive point is the Lift is the perfect matching with the KenP...
partez au vietnam vous en acheter 10 (pendentifs) et cela vous paie votre voyage ils ne sont pas à 500 euros mais à 30... suffit d'être curieux et savoir où Hermes les fait fabriquer et trouver la bonne adresse ;)
