Marwari girl

Après quelques mois de réflexion, laissez moi vous présenter mon nouveau sac H : le Marwari GM en bleu électrique.

After a few months of thinking, let me introduce my new H bag : the Marwari GM in bleu électrique.

Après avoir revendu différents sacs H (le sac chien vintage en box marine, le Kelly sellier en box havane - une erreur totale d'achat, je ne l'ai porté qu'une soirée car ses bords francs rendent le sac trop dame pour moi - et le Paris-Bombay en cuir epsom bleu jean), j'ai décidé de trouver un sac pour tous les jours, ce qui pour moi signifie un porté épaule et style casual chic. Mes deux favoris : le Marwari et le Lindy.

After having sold some of my H bags (the vintage Dog Carrier in navy box, the Kelly seller in havana box - a real mistake of purchase : I have worn it once because the sharp edges give a too lady look for me - and the Paris-Bombay in epsom blue jean), I have decided to find a bag for every days, which means for me a shoulder bag and a "casual chic" style". My two favorites : the Marwari and the Lindy.

J'avais vu le Marwari en juillet dernier à la boutique du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré en couleur sanguine. A l'époque, je cherchais un Picotin orange pour assortir à mes tenues d'été mais ils n'avaient que le petit modèle disponible. L'idée du Marwari a fait son chemin... J'adore la couleur sanguine mais je trouvais que la boucle en vache naturelle (c'est à dire très claire) rendait ce sac vraiment estival. J'aurais préféré la boucle fauve ou bien ébène, comme sur le sac de Aesthetic Alterations.

Comme j'avais revendu tous mes sacs bleus et que je porte souvent des jeans, je me suis dit qu'un nouveau sac bleu serait parfait... La semaine dernière, je passe au Faubourg sans trop y croire et je demande dans quelles couleurs ils ont le Marwari en cuir clémence (je ne voulais pas de la toile, trop fragile). Tadaaaaa, ils l'ont en Bleu Electrique, la nouvelle couleur (bien que proche du bleu Mykonos, le bleu électrique est plus foncé et plus flashy). Coup de coeur !!!

Et je peux l'assortir à mon châle en cachemire La Danse du Cheval Marwari !!!

I had seen the Marwari bag last July at FSH in sanguine color. At that time, I was looking for an orange Picotin to match my summer outfits but they had only the smallest size available. The idea of the Marwari has made its way... I love the sanguine color but I found that the buckle in cache naturelle makes this bag really summer. I would prefer the tan or the ebony buckle, as on Aesthetic Alterations bag.


Since I sold my blue bags and I often wear jeans, I thought that a new blue bag would be perfect... Last week, I went to FSH heartedly and I asked what colors they have in the Marwari leather (I did not want the canvas one, which is too fragile for me). Tadaaa, they had the bag in Electric blue, the new color (although this color is close to the Mykonos blue, the BE is darker and brighter). Love at first sight !!!


And I can match it with my cashmere shawl La Danse du Cheval Marwari !!!

J'Aime Mon Carré part. 1

Aujourd'hui une tenue directement inspirée par Ella, la parisienne du magazine digital d'Hermès "Paris mon Ami". J'ai tout de suite flashé sur son carré en soie vintage jaune citron mais impossible de le trouver en boutique... Il a fallu attendre décembre pour que ce coloris arrive sur le comptoir du FSH (entre-temps, j'avais déniché ce design en rose indien... je suis donc à la tête de deux J'Aime Mon Carré !!! (Ce sera l'occasion de créer des tops amusants cet été).

Quitte à s'inspirer d'un look autant le faire à fond : j'ai donc fait un noeud cravate.
Pour avoir le même effet "wavy" sur le bolduc du carré, il ne faut pas plier le carré selon le pli de biais classique mais plier le carré en deux en triangle puis rabattre la pointe du triangle jusqu'à la base de ce dernier et replier encore une fois pour obtenir la "bande"qui va servir à faire la cravate.

Et au poignet, j'ai choisi le bracelet Ariodante en bois laqué bleu jean et vert anis de la collection de l'été dernier.

Today an outfit directly inspired by Ella, the Parisian girl of Hermes' digital magazine "Paris mon Ami". I immediately flashed on this yellow silk scarf but impossible to find in stores ... It was not until December that the color comes on the counter of FSH (in the meantime, I unearthed this design in hot pink ... I'm at the head of two J'Aime Mon Carré! (This will be an opportunity to create fun summer tops).

Even if inspired by a look as well do it thoroughly: so I made a bow tie.
To have the same effect on the bolduc's scarf, do not fold the scarf along the basic biais fold but  fold the scarf into a triangle and then fold the tip of the triangle to the base and back again to get the "band" that will be used to tie.

And for my wrist, I chose the bracelet "Ariodante" in lacquered wood blue jeans and lime green from last summer collection.

Petit h à Sèvres

Fin novembre, j'ai reçu par la Poste une invitation pour le cocktail d'ouverture de l'exposition "Petit h" à la boutique rue de Sèvres à Paris.

At the end of November, I received by mail an invitation for the opening of "Petit h" exhibition at Sèvres boutique in Paris.

Le jour dudit cocktail j'étais malheureusement malade et je n'ai pas pu m'y rendre. Heureusement, je me suis rattrapée par la suite... Et j'ai trouvé un bracelet en croco couleur bougainvilliers absolument incroyable qui fut le cadeau de Noël de mon mari !
Notez, le sapin couleur étoupe ajouté comme "charm" au bolduc...

The day of the vernissage, I was unfortunately ill and I could not go there. Fortunately,  I caught up... And I found a croc leather bracelet in bougainvilliers absolutely amazing which is the Christmas gift of DH !

Je l'ai déjà assorti avec trois de mes foulards : Ex-Libris en Kimono, Lalbhai et ... Jungle Love dip dye vert olive (la surpiqure est de la couleur exacte de ce Dip Dye !). Et j'ai hâte de le porter cet été avec un simple t-shirt blanc...

La prochaine fois, je vous montrerais mon objet Petit h acheté l'année dernière à la boutique du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.

I have already worn it with 3 of my scarves : Ex-Libris en Kimono, Lalbhai and Jungle Love dip dye in olive green (the sticking of the bracelet is the same green color as this dip dye scarf). And I am looking forwards to wearing it next summer with a simple white t-shirt...


Next time, I will show you my Petit h bought last year at FSH.
