For a long time I was looking for the Pointu called Boite au Vol, from 2005 fall-winter collection
Finally, I found it in online consignment shop specialised in luxury and fashion goods : Vestiaire de Copines (which means Friends closet).
I forgot to ask before confirming my pruchase if the hem was properly... error !
The hem had been ironed (argh!), so it is flat :-( I was eager to show you the scarf for for its next outing, it will passed througth the washing and ironing to give it a second youth.

The photos were taken last week, when temperatures were still summery, which is why I focused on how less hot I can wear the scarf : I bent the tip of the triangle in order to give me the same band as the basic biais fold (band is thinner and shorter, though - of course).

To emphasize the scarf, I chose an simple outfit : my leo T-shirt which reminds me of the scarf center design and a pair of black jeans. And for a touch of recall, I put my Looping orange bracelet.

ps : And the guest star, my new cat: Gita (named like the Bhagavad Gita - 2011 is "G"year for pets in France). She is a 3 months and a half old variant Siamese ("variant" because her mother is Oriental Short Hair and her father is Balinese - long haired Siamese).

  1. GITA! Gita is so, so beautiful. I just want to adore her! I bet she is so happy in her new home--and you must be so very enamored of her. Those intelligent eyes and cute ears. I seriously hope to meet her someday, although I bet she stays close to you and away from strangers, no?

That's sad, sad, sad about the hems. Why don't resellers announce these things? But, as you say, a little hard work can do wonders. It's a great design--one I've recently become interested in. That orange box is so graphically perfect.

I hope all is going well for you with your new business. It's so very good to see you!

  3. AA,
Adding the fact that she is very kind and cute, Gita is also very friendly with strangers (with people who like cats in fact - she can feel it, yes ;-)). I hope she will keep this behaviour when he will be older.

Our business is going on (with some difficulties like every business), we are hoping having the first bottles of champaign at the end of November (I will tell you more when you will be in Paris !).

    Estrella,
Thank you for your nice words. It is great for me to have the feedback of new readers.
